Uses:

The product is made by using titanium containing minerals through reduction method, which is used for steel making, as casting additive or welding rod coating. It can increase the hardness and wear-resistance of the steel produced in steel-making, mainly used in iron and steel industry, special steel field and light alloys, etc.
Used as the additive, deoxidation agent and degassing agent for steel and alloy. In the smelting of stainless steel and heat-resistant steel, titanium combines with carbon and form stable compound, which can prevent the generation of chromium carbide, thus reduce inter-granular corrosion and improve the welding performance of chrome-nickel and stainless steel. Killed steel can improve the upper part segregation of ingot through titanium deoxidation, improve ingot quality and increase the recovery rate of steel ingot. A stable titanium nitride that insoluble in molten steel is generated by titanium and nitrogen dissolved in the molten steel. When the titanium is used as alloy agent, titanium carbide is produced by the titanium and carbon in the molten steel, which can increase the steel strength. Ferrotitanium is a coating of titanium calcium welding rod. The product quality standard implements national standard GB3282-87
